So I kinda lied in my last journal entry, so fucking sue me... I never did get around to making most the ideas and stuff I was going to...Instead I got all caught up with a uni brief, 'Clothes For Living And Dying.' We worked with a local gallery to produce garments to fit in with the photography exhibition of the above name, which was based a series of women in Bosnia who had created the outfits they wanted to buried in. Anywho, I decided to base my work around the Holocaust and did a hell of a lot of research, learning some quite awful things, but it paid of, the jacket I made funking rocked. Sitting here at my desk talking to friends, listening to Billy Joel....anyway... and for the first time in ages my imagination is flowing with ideas for both my uni work and personal stuff. So many ideas and design based of snipets of sketches are finally coming together since my unplanned, snow induced trip down to London, im really motivated to start producing them. And I will this time, I swear. Then they can go in my portfolio in an attempt to get work over summer. Also excited for our fundraising masked ball, so much so I have spent about six hours trying to decide between two shirts I like for it. So fricking hyped up now! Liney
